Play
A mindful act that involves immersion in the present moment, allowing us to temporarily set aside our worries and tap into a state of childlike curiosity. Play fosters imagination, creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills as we explore new ideas and scenarios. Play also promotes social development by encouraging collaboration, communication, and the understanding of social cues. Play is also a natural stress reliever; releasing endorphins and engaging in active rest. Additionally, play provides an opportunity for us to build resilience as we navigate challenges, setbacks, and successes in a low-stakes environment.
