Rest
A state of intentional mental relaxation and rejuvenation. It goes beyond the absence of physical activity or sleep, encompassing a deliberate pause from problem-solving, planning, or worrying. During this sweet escape, we aim to be fully present in the current moment, allowing our minds to disengage from the demands of active thought. It is a period of replenishment for the brain, fostering a sense of calm, clarity, and mindfulness. In this state, we may engage in activities that promote tranquility, mindfulness, or simple enjoyment, creating a space for mental renewal and well-being. I like to think of it as clearing the fog or slowing down the traffic in our minds. It's about being right here, right now.
